Start with the app brand
The Design step shows the app’s saved brand themes and the current default. Keeping an experience on the app default makes it inherit that default. The editor explains when an experience has been detached from it.
Choose and review a look
Open a feedback, survey, or in-app experience and choose Design.
Start with the app brand or select a preset such as Ocean, Forest, or Midnight.
Adjust the available color and corner controls, then check the question, labels, buttons, and background together.
For a browser experience, review Web presentation and compare desktop and mobile previews before saving.
Know what you are changing
Selecting a saved brand or customizing an experience may create a detached copy. Use Reset to app brand when you want to reconnect it to the default. Editing the app default can affect other experiences that still inherit it; changing a detached experience applies to that experience.
Make it easy to read
Use readable text against the chosen background and keep the main action visible. Test long questions and realistic button labels, not only short placeholder copy. A good-looking desktop view is not enough: check smaller previews for wrapping and clipped content. Save your changes and verify the published experience in a connected test build.
