Open Analyze
Choose a saved survey and open its Analyze view. Select a time range that includes the activity you are investigating. The Overview and Recipients tabs answer different questions: how the survey performed overall, and what happened for a particular recipient.
Read the overview
Started tells you how many survey attempts began. Completed tells you how many finished. Abandoned describes attempts that ended without completion. Completion rate compares completed attempts with starts. Per-question results show answer distributions appropriate to each format.
Look beyond the headline number
Compare how many answers each question received. A later question can have fewer answers because respondents left earlier or followed a different path.
Read text answers alongside choice or rating distributions to understand the reasons.
Use Recipients to inspect available answers and statuses such as Completed, In progress, Declined, or No response.
Include anonymous responses in your review; identified users are only one part of the audience.
Use the results to improve the survey
If participation drops, shorten the introduction, remove unnecessary required questions, or ask at a better moment. Compare similar audiences and periods before attributing a change to the product. Where an API report provides question shown or skipped counts, those are derived estimates rather than exact measurements of each question’s exposure.
