Choose one message
An in-app message works well for a feature announcement, an onboarding hint, or a next step. Write the benefit first: “Your next adventure, offline” followed by a short explanation of saving routes before a trip.
Build the announcement
Open In-app messages and select New in-app message.
Choose a format: Modal, Full-screen, or Slide-up.
Write the title and body. Add an image only if it helps explain the message.
Set the action labels and destinations. “Explore routes” tells customers more than “Learn more” when it opens the route list.
Review the preview, then use Design to adjust the look and Target to choose delivery settings.
Choose the right moment
Show an announcement when a customer can act on it. Use a relevant event or app-open trigger and a sensible frequency cap. If the action requires a particular app version, account for that in the audience so users are not sent to a feature they do not have.
Test the action
Publish to a test audience, open the message in the real product, and tap every action. Confirm the correct page or screen opens and the dismiss action closes the message. An editor preview cannot verify that your app handles a deep link or custom event correctly.
