Organize around customer tasks
Create collections with names such as Getting started or Feedback. Keep each article focused on a task: creating a question, reading results, or fixing a delivery problem. A collection description should explain what readers can find there.
Write the article
Open Help center and choose New collection if the topic does not have one.
Choose New article, add a clear title, and write a short summary.
Use headings for the main stages and numbered lists for steps that must happen in order.
Select the collection in the article settings. A collection is required for publication.
Wait for the Saved state, use Preview, and publish when the content is ready.
Make it practical
Name the controls customers will see and explain the expected result of the steps. Add a screenshot where a layout or choice is difficult to describe. Keep installation code in developer documentation and link to it when setup is a prerequisite.
Maintain the published version
Editing a published article changes its draft; publish again when the update should become visible. Use the public article link to check the final text, images, and collection. Reorder articles so the usual starting point comes first, and review guides when a product control or workflow changes.
